Senior Engineer – BizApps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Engineering solutions for scalability — addressing customer and partner systems.

• Create and implement exceptional experiences for customers and partners — including quote-to-cash processes, self-service portals, and order management UIs — systems that are dependable, swift, and designed for growth.

• Take ownership of delivery from start to finish: API design, business logic, integration layers, and user interface — you manage the entire process and ensure delivery.

• Focus on outcomes: a partner portal that drives conversions, an order flow that requires zero manual intervention, and a customer journey that remains seamless.

• Frontend technologies — React, Angular, Micro Frontends (MFE).

• Develop production-quality user interfaces in React or Angular — real applications that are deployed and scalable, not just prototypes.

• Design and implement Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures utilizing module federation — independently deployable micro-apps that integrate smoothly across platforms.

• Build and sustain shared component libraries and design systems that cover various frontend interfaces.

• Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) within Salesforce when it is the most suitable platform for the UI.

• Backend and integration work — including Salesforce.

• Construct and enhance backend services using Java, Python, Node, or the most suitable technology for the task — you choose the right tool, not just the familiar one.

• Design REST/SOAP API integrations across Salesforce, billing systems, ERP, portals, and data warehouses — take full ownership of the data flow.

• Utilize Salesforce platform expertise (Apex, OmniStudio, CPQ) to manage the business logic layer when Salesforce is the system of record.

• Troubleshoot integration issues across the entire stack — from frontend requests to middleware, Salesforce callouts, and downstream service logs.

• Collaborate and enhance team performance.

• Convert complex business requirements into clear, scalable technical solutions — partner with BAs, architects, and stakeholders.

• Perform code reviews and mentor fellow developers — elevate the team's standards simply by being present.

• Document your work to ensure the next engineer doesn't start from scratch.

• Deliver with excellence.

• Manage unit, integration, and regression testing across frontend, backend, and Salesforce environments.

• Facilitate CI/CD deployments using Git, Copado, Jenkins, or similar tools.

• Diagnose and resolve post-deployment issues proactively.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering with a solid foundation in OOP, data modeling, APIs, debugging, and system design.

• Proven production frontend experience in React or Angular — delivering real applications that have been deployed and scaled.

• Familiarity with Micro Frontend (MFE) architectures — including module federation and independently deployable components, or similar technologies.

• Capability to build, read, debug, and extend backend services using Java, Python, Node, or equivalent programming languages.

• Experience in creating and maintaining system integrations through REST/SOAP APIs.

• Strong knowledge of Salesforce — sufficient to manage Apex, LWC, and platform configurations independently.

• Demonstrated improvements in speed and efficiency due to AI utilization — regular use of tools like Claude and Cursor AI, rather than sporadic experiments.

• Proficient with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies within Jira.
