• Set up and verify identity and access controls between tenants, including Entra ID guest accounts, cross-tenant role assignments, and service principals necessary for migration tools.
• Transition on-premises SQL databases to Azure and confirm data integrity and performance following the migration.
• Conduct Azure-to-Azure SQL migrations by designing pipeline-based data transfers (using ADF or similar), configuring replication or backup/restore processes for cross-tenant transfers, and establishing failover and rollback plans.
• Evaluate and update stored procedures for compatibility with SQL Server versions (2012 to 2019).
• Harmonize networking and security measures across tenants.

• Generate and maintain migration status reports for leadership throughout the project.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, accompanied by over 5 years of experience in Cloud migrations.
• Proven track record in executing Azure tenant-to-tenant migrations.
• Expertise with Azure migration tools such as Azure Migrate, AzCopy, Azure File Sync, Azure Database Migration Service (DMS), Database Migration Assistant (DMA), SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA), and Azure Data Factory.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and Azure CLI; familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure automation is preferred.
• Knowledge of Azure networking in cross-tenant scenarios, including VNet peering, Private Endpoints, DNS forwarding, and NSGs.
• Experience with Entra ID in multi-tenant setups, incorporating B2B guest management and cross-tenant RBAC.
• Practical experience with SQL Server migration, including target platform selection (Azure SQL DB, MI, IaaS), assessment tools, minimal-downtime cutover, and stored procedure updates across SQL Server versions (2012-2019).
• Capable of working independently, making decisions in uncertain circumstances, and effectively communicating with non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-040 (preferred), and DP-300.
• Experience in regulated environments such as Soc2, HIPAA, FedRAMP, CMMC, etc., is preferred.
