Senior Engineer – AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain robust platform solutions.

• Architect, deploy, and oversee Kubernetes clusters on AWS and/or Azure.

• Create and implement CI/CD pipelines that ensure swift delivery of high-quality code.

• Develop automated infrastructure using Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.

• Lead efforts in cloud migration and modernization, including transitioning legacy workloads (Java, .NET, ETL, databases) to contemporary cloud-native services.

• Automate the scaling, deployment, and management of containerized applications.

• Monitor, diagnose, and enhance system performance to guarantee reliability, cost efficiency, and resilience.

• Establish proactive monitoring solutions to detect and avert outages.

• Convert complex client requirements into scalable, automated solutions.

• Participate in team knowledge-sharing, peer reviews, runbooks, and initiatives for process improvement.

• Ensure the support and maintenance of secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure for critical systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.

• Over 5 years of experience with AWS.

• More than 3 years of experience with Terraform and other IaC tools.

• At least 2 years of experience building and managing Kubernetes in a production environment.

• Experience with Azure.

• Practical experience in migrating or modernizing legacy workloads (Java, .NET, or similar) to the cloud.

• Proven experience in designing and developing scalable, distributed systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).

• Experience in consulting or client-facing delivery roles.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Capability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• A proactive team player, self-starter, and strong multi-tasker.

• Possession of cloud certifications.

• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare).

• Professional level certifications for AWS and Azure.

• Experience with ETL or data pipeline technologies (DataStage, ADF, Glue, Airflow, or similar).

• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
