Senior Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that support AutoPay, check processing, fraud detection, and anomaly detection capabilities.

• Leverage technical expertise to drive successful outcomes for customers.

• Independently tackle challenges on projects that align with the overall software engineering strategy.

• Develop essential software for the product that yields positive results.

• Share innovative ideas and techniques with the team.

• Participate in team collaboration sessions to offer technical insights.

• Contribute to the development of engineering practices, templates, and frameworks.

• Utilize data to track progress and enhance the deployment and build processes.

• Engage in recruitment efforts to help build the team and assist in the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in engineering environments, transforming abstract concepts into detailed software engineering plans for delivery.

• Strong understanding of industry-standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.

• Solid knowledge of version control and revision control practices and procedures.

• Comprehensive understanding of systems design concepts that ensure security and stability.

• Proficiency in debugging code and analyzing complex log files for troubleshooting product defects.

• Expert knowledge and experience in querying databases for complex data lookups and updates.

• Conduct code reviews with fellow team members.

• Experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.
