Senior Engineer, Application Development – Power Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the technical direction and collaborate with business teams, AI agents, automation capabilities, and IT partners to assess and recommend solutions.

• Partner with business and IT leadership to create and convey a long-term vision alongside thorough strategic plans for solution architecture and delivery.

• Engage with product owners, business users, and technical leaders to specify requirements, evaluate business value, and formulate specifications for enterprise solutions.

• Promote engineering practices and delivery standards within Agile teams.

• Establish, document, and govern application architecture, integrations, and interfaces.

• Set standards for development and design methodologies utilized by enterprise application teams.

• Track emerging trends in enterprise application platforms and assess their relevance and impact.

• Create and implement integrated business solutions that connect multiple enterprise platforms within the cloud (Azure).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certifications/experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, with at least 5 years of experience.

• Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale solutions utilizing Microsoft Power Platform and Azure technologies.

• Strong expertise in Dataverse (Common Data Service) and data modeling.

• Familiarity with other Microsoft technologies, programming languages, and frameworks will be viewed as advantageous.

• Experience with AI Builder, Copilot, or Azure AI services is highly preferred.

• Background in working on project teams using waterfall and/or agile SDLC methodologies is required (Agile preferred).

• Data migration and integration experience will be considered a plus.

• Proficient in development practices such as code review, coding standards, continuous integration, and pair programming.

• Microsoft Power Platform Certification(s) will be regarded as advantageous.

• Experience in the Insurance sector and/or LOMA coursework is preferred; ALMI designation is a bonus.
