Forward Deployed Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Engage directly with clients to comprehend their business needs and pinpoint AI use cases.

• Design, develop, and implement AI-driven applications utilizing OpenAI technologies.

• Integrate Large Language Models into corporate systems and business processes.

• Create backend services and APIs to support AI initiatives.

• Construct Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and AI workflows.

• Connect AI applications with current enterprise platforms and data sources.

• Prototype, validate, and enhance AI solutions for production settings.

• Collaborate with Software Engineers, Data Engineers, and Solution Architects.

• Address technical challenges and improve application performance.

• Contribute to AI engineering best practices and ensure effective customer delivery.

• For Senior-level candidates: facilitate technical discussions, mentor team members, and assist in solution design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven commercial experience in software engineering.

• Experience in building applications with OpenAI APIs or comparable Large Language Model platforms.

• Proficient programming skills in Python.

• Background in developing REST APIs and backend services.

• Familiarity with Generative AI concepts and LLM-based applications.

• Experience with integrating enterprise systems and external APIs.

• Knowledge of prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).

• Proficient with Git and CI/CD practices.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.

• Capacity to interact directly with clients and convert business needs into technical solutions.

• Fluent in English - C1 level.
