This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.
• Provide support for the installed base of specific European customers, encompassing tasks such as resolving customer issues, managing fleet concerns, implementing service bulletins, and overseeing Monitoring & Diagnostics and fleet configuration.
• Oversee the maintenance of fleet data and manage outage situations.
• Address customer inquiries by utilizing technical product knowledge and analytical abilities while following established engineering principles, standards, practices, and procedures.
• Escalate issues when necessary, acting as a communication bridge between the field, Product Support, Monitoring & Diagnostics, Performance, Repair, Application, and design engineering teams within the engineering community to facilitate technical resolutions, identify and drive corrective actions aimed at minimizing fleet risk and enhancing customer asset reliability.
• Build, maintain, and cultivate relationships to gain insights into the customer's operational model and their technical requirements.
• Regularly communicate with various levels within the customer's organization, including travel to customer sites as required.
• Lead technical meetings with customers to discuss identified technical risks within the fleet, fleet performance, and provide engineering recommendations along with customer-specific technical solutions to improve asset reliability and availability.
• Offer technical assistance during unforeseen or forced outages to improve customer experience and achieve their availability targets.
• Collaborate with Services ITR teams to provide technical support for sales and proposal initiatives, working alongside Application Engineers and Sales Account Leaders.
• Engage actively in outage planning and execution, supporting improvements in outage productivity.
• Work closely with the Monitoring and Diagnostic team to assess plant operations, identify issues, and promote enhancements to asset performance.
• Manage program activities and conduct root cause analyses for product technical challenges.
• Interface with M&D, Product-Line, System, and Design Engineering teams.
• Provide technical leadership to personnel involved in the project or those tasked with resolving technical challenges.
• Prepare technical presentations for GEV Leaders and Gas Power customers to ensure proactive and timely communication regarding significant issues or imminent fleet challenges.
• Deliver engineering leadership and technical direction for all new unit installations during the commissioning phase, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and timeliness objectives.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering.
• Over 10 years of experience in the Gas Power Energy Sector.
• More than 5 years of experience in Power Plant engineering, field service, customer support, operations, and maintenance, preferably in HDGT, Steam, or Generator.
• Capability to lead Lean transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in other European languages would be an advantage.
