Senior Engenheiro de Dados, Backend

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance data pipelines responsible for the selection and eligibility of receivables, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processes;

• Implement business rules related to the purchase of assignments, translating financial criteria into system logic;

• Build and maintain processes for calculating and validating indicators and financial criteria;

• Develop integrations between data pipelines and backend applications, ensuring the consistency and smoothness of information;

• Contribute to the evolution of distributed and event-driven architectures;

• Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of pipelines that process large volumes of data;

• Investigate and resolve complex issues in distributed processing environments;

• Contribute to the advancement of the company's data and systems architecture, promoting best engineering practices and code quality;

• Participate in technical reviews and collaborate in disseminating standards and continuous improvements;

• Work in partnership with business areas, supporting the development of solutions that automate operational decisions and enhance VERT's efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience with Python for developing data pipelines and implementing business logic;

• Experience with large-scale data processing (Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar);

• Knowledge in data modeling and transformation (ETL/ELT);

• Experience with messaging and/or event streaming (such as Kafka or similar);

• Experience with service integration and API development (REST);

• Proficiency in code versioning (Git) and collaborative development practices;

• Advanced knowledge in SQL for data analysis and manipulation;

• Experience with distributed and event-driven architectures;

• Experience in integrating data pipelines with backend applications;

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS or similar);

• Familiarity with data pipeline orchestration.
