This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and evolve data architectures by defining standards, best practices, and strategies for efficiency and scalability.

• Implement FinOps strategies, governance, and integration with AI platforms (ML/GenAI).

• Engage from the project conception phase, collaborating with business areas to understand their needs.

• Translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions.

• Develop resilient and scalable pipelines for data ingestion and processing.

• Apply DataOps concepts to ensure quality, automation, and continuous monitoring.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solid experience in data engineering within large-scale environments.

• Experience with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Lakehouse, and Data Mesh architectures.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and optimization of complex queries.

• Advanced programming skills in Python and PySpark.

• Experience with cloud data services on AWS (Glue, EMR, Redshift, S3, and Step Functions).

• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and orchestration tools (Airflow and Step Functions).

• Strong software engineering practices, including version control, CI/CD, and testing.

• Ability to translate business concepts into quantitative metrics (KPIs/OKRs).
