This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Conducts analysis of current systems at the unit level and assesses the adequacy of electrical designs and components for the system.
• Formulates and documents system-level electrical specifications based on unit requirements along with various electrical and safety regulations (including but not limited to UL/ETL, CE, and local standards) to ensure that the equipment is both safe and dependable.
• Ensures that the electrical designs and applications adhere to a variety of codes.
• Creates and documents electrical designs for equipment applications.
• Reviews the work of fellow electrical engineers and provides guidance on alternative designs aimed at enhancing safety, cost-effectiveness, reliability, and quality.
• Performs additional tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial or commercial products or related fields.
• Experience with EPlan is an advantage.
• Familiarity with various internal and external compliance standards (including UL/ETL, CE, and other pertinent standards).
• Desired experience in HVAC/R.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience, along with the capability to effectively communicate technical concepts, work collaboratively in teams, and operate independently while taking initiative.
