Senior Electrical Construction Estimator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conduct estimating at all levels.

• Precisely take off all materials, lighting, and power according to specifications and drawings.

• Accountable for the accurate integration of all data from take-off sheets into the estimating software program.

• Must possess the capability to generate detailed electrical estimates from limited conceptual design information.

• Prepare RFQs and assess vendor pricing.

• Responsible for identifying which phases or scopes of work for the project will be handled by a subcontractor, as well as securing and verifying quotes.

• Create bids and change orders, providing the estimated cost data to the Assistant Project Manager.

• Support estimating training for junior estimators as needed.

• Cultivate and sustain relationships with General Contractors.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of **8-10 years of electrical estimating experience** in the commercial sector.

• Proficient in **Conest Intellibid Software**.

• Experience in preparing, completing, and reviewing intricate estimates with senior management decision-makers.

• Strong expertise in advanced construction estimating processes, including structural, architectural, and mechanical documents and specifications, and their influence on electrical scope.

• Capable of reviewing BOM from subcontractors, suppliers, and material quotes, ensuring completeness and compliance with bid documents, and making recommendations to Executives.

• Familiarity with Design-Build processes.

• Knowledgeable about NEC, jurisdictional codes, and construction methods.

• Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
