Senior ElasticPath Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Oversee the design and execution of Elastic Path solutions, ensuring they meet business needs and adhere to best practices.

• Create and tailor Elastic Path commerce modules such as product catalogs, promotions, orders, and customer management systems.

• Connect Elastic Path with various platforms, including CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and external APIs.

• Work alongside cross-functional teams, including architects, developers, QA specialists, and business analysts, to provide comprehensive e-commerce solutions.

• Guarantee the performance optimization, security compliance, and scalability of the Elastic Path platform.

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and consultants.

• Develop technical documentation and support ongoing enhancements of development processes.

• Keep informed about the latest developments in e-commerce technologies and advancements in Elastic Path.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of experience in software development, including a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with the Elastic Path platform.

• In-depth understanding of Elastic Path Commerce architecture, APIs, and extension frameworks.

• Expertise in Java development and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Experience in integrating Elastic Path with other enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, or payment gateways.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior members of the team.

• Strong customer-centric approach and ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
