Senior Economic Damages Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Oversee litigation engagements to assess economic damages.

• Conduct analysis and create economic loss reports while remaining anonymous as the testifying expert.

• Engage with current clients regarding document requests and communicate analytical findings, mainly in collaboration with senior leadership.

• Meet with clients in person to collect relevant data and information.

• Execute damages analyses by selecting methodologies and developing as well as reviewing financial models.

• Supervise other consultants performing tasks related to report preparation.

• Drive file management and report writing in a collaborative team setting.

• Evaluate and analyze reports from opposing damages experts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting.

• 3–7 years of experience in assessing economic damages in personal injury or employment litigation.

• Proven experience in evaluating economic damages within litigation cases.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality expert reports.

• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

• Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.

• Capability to meet deadlines while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.

• Strong independent work ethic with evident leadership skills.

• Ability to effectively assist and respond to client needs.

• Preferred: Master’s degree with a strong quantitative focus.

• Professional certifications such as CEA, CVA, or ABV, or evidence of progress towards relevant certifications.

• Willingness to travel as necessary.

• Ability to sit for extended periods at a desk and work on a computer.
