This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Direct the annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, long-term planning, and monthly forecasting initiatives.
• Oversee consolidated financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis throughout the organization.
• Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO, CEO, and Senior Leadership Team regarding financial performance, strategic initiatives, and operational decision-making.
• Play a vital role in the Finance Leadership Team, contributing to the strategic direction of Finance and broader company goals.
• Manage reporting for executives, the Board of Directors, and debt lenders, including ensuring covenant compliance.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting to maintain consistency between actual results, forecasts, budgets, and external reporting.
• Work alongside leaders in Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Marketing, HR, and Strategy to bolster strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Spearhead scenario planning, financial modeling, investment analysis, pricing analysis, and strategic business initiatives.
• Recognize financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations.
• Promote continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, reporting, and planning capabilities.
• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team comprising a Senior Manager and Senior Financial Analyst.
• Collaborate with the CFO on financing activities, capital structure planning, M&A support, and other strategic corporate initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible finance experience, including at least 10 years in FP&A leadership.
• Proven track record in private equity-backed, high-growth SaaS companies is highly preferred.
• Experience in presenting to Boards of Directors and working with executive leadership teams.
• Familiarity with managing debt facilities, lender reporting, and covenant compliance.
• Strong grasp of SaaS metrics such as ARR, GRR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Rule of 40, and cash flow performance.
• Exceptional skills in financial modeling, forecasting, analysis, communication, and presentation.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams.
• Experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with Sage Intacct, Salesforce, and modern FP&A platforms is advantageous.
• CPA, CA, and/or MBA preferred.
• Experience in the EdTech sector is a significant asset.
