This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Lead and cultivate a high-performing Sourcing & Procurement team for a significant technology client.
• Manage expectations and deliverables of the team in collaboration with Sourcing & Procurement leadership, account leadership, and clients.
• Oversee the recruitment, mentoring, development, rotation, and retention of Sourcing and Procurement professionals.
• Drive the implementation of Sourcing & Procurement programs, operational excellence, and achievement of account KPIs and goals.
• Ensure compliance with controls, contract and COI adherence, RFx/process enhancements, and Procurement Playbook guidelines.
• Develop and execute annual sourcing strategies, including benchmarking expenditures on third-party contractors.
• Identify risks and opportunities for clients/stakeholders and propose actionable strategies.
• Manage the performance of third-party suppliers and oversee quarterly reporting.
• Utilize sourcing technology tools across designated accounts.
• Assist operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting procedures.
• Monitor savings, supplier performance, and sourcing efficiency, and communicate outcomes effectively.
• Facilitate client meetings and strategic sessions while nurturing relationships with account and client leadership.
• Formulate short- and long-term sourcing strategies, manage suppliers and internal networks, and promote best-in-class performance.
• Collaborate with Corporate Legal and Risk Management regarding contractual terms and approvals.
• Over 10 years of strategic sourcing experience, particularly in services or indirect categories related to facilities services, is highly desired.
• Experience in people management.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; Business or Supply Chain Management is preferred.
• An MBA is advantageous.
• CPM, CPSM, or CPSD certification is preferred.
• Strong PC skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• E-procurement experience, ideally with Jaggaer.
• Willingness to travel within the U.S. approximately 25% of the time.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Possess influential, collaborative, client-centric, transformational, strategic, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills are necessary.
• Demonstrated understanding of JLL Work Dynamics, the real estate sector, competitive landscape, and relevant industries.
