This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate strategies and operational plans aimed at enhancing win rates by assisting teams in identifying, articulating, and demonstrating how GitLab aligns with customer needs and business objectives.
• Spearhead initiatives that expand the organization and its operational framework to facilitate future growth.
• Develop and refine processes, metrics, and key performance indicators for technical assessments, workshops, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales and Partner teams to synchronize on strategies, priorities, and support for targeted prospects, customers, and partners.
• Cultivate robust relationships with key customers at both the technical sponsor and executive levels.
• Partner with Enterprise sales leadership across the US, Canada, and LATAM to bolster account plans, strategies, and quarterly objectives.
• Work collaboratively with Customer Success, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Services, and Sales Operations to enhance engagement models, team empowerment, and feedback mechanisms.
• Recruit, mentor, and nurture an outstanding team of Solutions Architects and managers.
• Propel organizational transformation by proactively identifying gaps, establishing structure where it's lacking, and leading change initiatives without awaiting top-down directives.
• Progressive leadership experience, including significant tenure as a second or third-line leader (managing managers) in technical sales, Solutions Architecture, or Sales Engineering domains.
• Proven capability to lead amid ambiguity and rapid organizational changes, providing clarity and direction to teams even during the strategic formation phase.
• Experience in building and guiding teams of managers within complex, distributed organizations.
• Strong background in enhancing strategy and operations for technical assessment methodologies, technical evaluations, and team empowerment.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle practices and tools, encompassing agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Technical knowledge of cloud and security concepts, including Kubernetes, Docker, static application security testing (SAST), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and cloud deployment frameworks such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure.
• Experience in selling technical solutions to technical practitioners, managers, and executive decision-makers.
• Established ability to collaborate across various functions, including Sales, Partners, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Services.
