This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Managers and Sales Representatives to surpass sales objectives.
• Cultivate and sustain a high-performance culture centered on accountability, clear expectations, and ongoing improvement.
• Manage territory oversight to ensure optimal coverage and effective resource distribution.
• Establish and convey clear performance expectations and KPIs throughout the sales organization.
• Leverage Salesforce CRM to manage the sales pipeline, forecast accurately, and drive decisions based on data analysis.
• Employ data to guide segmentation strategies, pricing models, and promotional initiatives.
• Formulate and implement strategic sales plans aimed at increasing market share and enhancing revenue.
• Forge and sustain robust relationships with key clients, including optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians, and laboratory partners.
• Anticipate and understand customer needs, delivering customized solutions and outstanding service.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure sales strategies align with overall business objectives.
• Keep abreast of market trends and competitor activities to uncover new opportunities and manage risks.
• Promote a high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, continuous improvement, and customer success.
• Provide regular performance updates to executive leadership and play a role in strategic planning.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience;
• At least 3 additional years of experience related to the functional area;
• Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities including hiring, training, assigning work, and overseeing the performance of direct reports;
• Progressive sales leadership experience, ideally within the optical or healthcare sectors;
• Proven track record in revenue growth and leading high-performing sales teams;
• Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and utilizing data for performance management;
• Strong understanding of the optical lens market, particularly sales to medical professionals and laboratories;
• Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills;
• A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a strong inclination for action.
