This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Collaborate directly with key clients in the biopharma and life sciences sectors, leveraging a deep understanding of the industry, structured problem-solving skills, strategic clarity, and strong executive presence (both verbal and written) to create pathways for growth.
• Represent Salesforce at prominent industry events, seeking new growth opportunities and fostering relationships with essential stakeholders in the industry.
• Lead critical strategic initiatives such as Industry Councils, executing major deliverables, including our Operating Plan, Industry North Star, and Market Imperatives, aimed at aligning our cross-functional partners to achieve business objectives.
• Influence the development of industry solutions to educate and empower sales, pre-sales, and customer success teams, enabling them to communicate effectively with customers.
• Examine internal and external data, analysts' reports, and other sources to formulate insights on market trends, performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Co-lead the long-term industry strategy and drive cross-functional growth results.
• Prioritize key accounts and customer relationships to minimize friction in deal cycles and enhance trust, relevance, and credibility with customers at the VP+/C-Suite level.
• Collaborate across functions to produce relevant content for events, marketing materials, and partner go-to-market (GTM) initiatives.
• Assist in the creation and execution of partner and sales enablement content and activities.
• Support the direction of market-ready solutions and the execution of growth strategies.
• Represent Salesforce at industry events, cultivating relationships and enhancing brand visibility.
• Develop go-to-market strategies specifically tailored to compete against leading players in the retail technology market.
• Over 10 years of experience in the Pharma industry, with a preference for expertise in pharma clinical operations, medical, and/or commercial fields.
• At least 10 years of experience in high-tech companies and/or large system integrators supporting the aforementioned industries.
• An undergraduate degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred.
• A hands-on leader with a "get it done" operational style and active participation in industry associations.
• Experience in deploying or utilizing innovative technology solutions with a strong vision for transforming the industry in the era of AI.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to audiences ranging from small executive meetings to large keynote presentations.
• A self-starter capable of multitasking in the fast-paced and high-pressure environment of a startup software company.
• A strong customer orientation and results-driven leadership approach.
• In-depth understanding of Salesforce products and their relevance within the industry.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to structure complex problems, develop hypotheses, and present well-supported solutions.
