This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Drive excellence in strategic sourcing for Project Delivery Services across various regions, optimizing enterprise-wide operations and sourcing strategies for JLL managed services throughout the US.
• Define the vision and strategic direction for sourcing initiatives that align with corporate goals and client business outcomes.
• Take ownership of and implement comprehensive PDS strategic sourcing strategies aimed at optimizing total cost of ownership across client portfolios and complex multi-site projects.
• Design sourcing frameworks that balance cost efficiency, quality, risk mitigation, and supplier performance.
• Transform and scale the PDS strategic sourcing organization through collaboration with corporate sourcing, project management, operations, and business development teams at the executive level.
• Utilize technology platforms, analytics tools, and communication frameworks to enhance organizational capability and productivity.
• Leverage category intelligence, predictive analytics, market data, capital planning cycles, and demand forecasting to develop sourcing strategies and inform investment decisions.
• Create executive-level reporting and insights that promote strategic planning and operational excellence.
• Advance and govern the preferred supplier program within PDS while fostering executive relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Provide strategic oversight and operational management of RFP/bid processes, contract negotiations, and supplier management frameworks.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, anticipate business needs, and align sourcing activities with organizational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with sourcing policies, contracting standards, risk management protocols, and ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with Corporate Legal and Risk Management on contractual instruments, compliance, risk mitigation, and improvements in contracting practices.
• Set priorities, allocate resources, and offer leadership direction to Operations teams, extended workforce, and project-specific personnel.
• Build high-performing teams that deliver client and customer satisfaction while achieving business objectives.
• Advocate for diversity and inclusion programs and lead initiatives focused on supplier diversity.
• Oversee Preferred Supplier performance governance and conduct strategic business reviews.
• Promote the adoption and enhancement of JLL e-commerce procurement platforms and emerging sourcing technologies.
• Demonstrated executive presence with outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
• Proven track record in leading, developing, and inspiring cross-functional teams while driving organizational change.
• Strategic mindset with strong business judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills, capable of managing multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
• Excellent written, verbal, visual communication, and executive presentation skills.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and foster consensus among diverse audiences, from C-suite executives to operational teams.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year college or university required.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain.
• 5+ years of experience in construction management or related fields.
• Proven success in delivering measurable business outcomes through enterprise-scale strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Deep expertise in the construction management industry.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project delivery methodologies, supply chain dynamics, and market conditions.
• Extensive understanding of the construction and real estate supply base, sourcing best practices, and category management strategies.
• Project management and complex business transformation experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience with procurement platforms, sourcing tools, data analytics software, and enterprise systems.
• Comfort in leveraging technology to drive insights, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
