Senior Director of Product, Payment Platform – Experiences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the company-wide payments product strategy and the multi-year roadmap.

• Oversee product development for the Payment Platform, Merchant Billing & Invoicing, and Payer Experiences tailored for both small business and Enterprise customers.

• Enhance the platform layer (routing, settlement, fund flow, compliance architecture) that supports the 8am payments ecosystem.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Finance, RevOps, and CX to foster adoption, boost volume growth, and deliver measurable customer and business value.

• Guarantee payment safety, fraud prevention, regulatory compliance, and trust across all features.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years in product management, with more than 5 years leading payments, fintech, or financial services products.

• In-depth knowledge of payment systems—processing, settlement, compliance—combined with a strong inclination towards user experience innovation.

• Proven ability to formulate a compelling vision, gain widespread support, and translate it into an ambitious long-term strategy executed incrementally.

• History of driving digitization and adoption in the face of entrenched behavioral or structural challenges.

• Experience in B2B SaaS catering to SMBs to enterprise; a background in professional services is highly desirable.

• Preference for candidates based in Austin, Texas.
