Senior Director of Construction – General Construction

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Managing all aspects of residential renovations and new constructions within a geographically varied portfolio.

• Acting as a reliable partner to executive leadership by offering strategic guidance.

• Staying actively involved in the field and overseeing daily operations.

• Directing project planning, contractor oversight, and cross-departmental collaboration.

• Guaranteeing that all activities are in accordance with the organization's vision, operational objectives, and long-term asset strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of progressive experience in construction, real estate development, or related sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, business, real estate, architecture, or a related field.

• Significant hands-on experience in the field with comprehensive knowledge of construction techniques and methods.

• Proven track record in managing high-end residential projects, including both renovations and new constructions.

• Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple projects while coordinating various stakeholders across functions.

• Experience in managing property portfolios with a keen understanding of long-term operational implications.

• Strong financial skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and contract management.

• Familiarity with tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Matterport, or equivalent platforms.
