This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Lead, expand, and revolutionize Kueski’s comprehensive Collections organization.
• Own the collections strategy, ensuring operational excellence and execution to achieve robust portfolio performance, effective cash recovery, regulatory compliance, and a customer-focused collections experience.
• Design a modern, scalable collections operating framework capable of accommodating 10x growth, utilizing data, AI, automation, and top-tier processes.
• Serve as the key executive contact for Collections performance, risk outcomes, and recovery strategies.
• Collaborate across departments, including Lending, Risk & Fraud, Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Customer Operations.
• Develop and implement data-driven recovery strategies to enhance roll rates, recovery curves, cash flow, and loss mitigation.
• Consistently assess and refine collections policies, playbooks, and escalation procedures.
• Guarantee full adherence to relevant regulations, internal policies, and consumer protection standards.
• 10+ years of experience in Collections, Credit Operations, or Loan Servicing within high-volume, tech-driven financial services or fintech sectors.
• 7+ years of leadership experience, managing managers and overseeing large-scale collections teams (100+ personnel across internal and external teams).
• Proven expertise in fintech or financial services, preferably in BNPL, personal loans, or consumer credit products.
• Strong history of designing and scaling collections strategies that enhance recovery, minimize losses, and protect customer relationships.
• In-depth knowledge of portfolio segmentation, recovery strategies, roll-rate management, agency optimization, and cost-to-collect management.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with Product and Engineering on automation, system migrations, or AI-driven collections projects.
• Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements pertaining to consumer collections.
• Experience leading operational transformations and change management in dynamic environments.
• Advanced analytical skills with the capability to interpret data, recognize patterns, and make timely decisions.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, with experience presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
