This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Reach out to customers who have outstanding balances and assist them in making payments.
• Process payments from customers and investigate any issues related to collections.
• Oversee a portfolio of accounts to ensure the timely recovery of overdue balances.
• Utilize negotiation and persuasion skills to secure payment commitments.
• Resolve challenging situations by employing active listening and problem-solving techniques.
• Use various systems (Salesforce, Zuora, Internal Portal) to identify and address issues.
• Accurately document and monitor collections processes and activities.
• Improve customer retention by articulating the benefits of community solar.
• Conduct skip tracing to find customers who are difficult to reach.
• Provide empathetic, solution-focused interactions that prioritize customer experience.
• Collaborate with team members and share best practices.
• Succeed in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
• Effectively communicate with other departments for managing cases.
• Achieve departmental KPIs, including collected amounts and call volumes.
• Handle multiple daily tasks such as calls, inquiries, and Salesforce cases.
• Clearly communicate the advantages of community solar to customers.
• 3-5+ years of professional experience in a collections role, preferably within the solar industry.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of billing and collections procedures.
• Experience with skip tracing tools and investigative techniques to reach customers.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service and retention strategies.
• Proficient in Excel, typing, and navigating computer systems.
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is mandatory.
• You should be self-motivated, proactive, and confident!
• Attention to detail in communications with clients.
• Ability to work efficiently with diverse teams in a collaborative setting.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and expanding environment.
• Previous customer service or call center experience is required.
• Knowledge or experience in accounts receivable.
• Familiarity with Zuora or similar billing systems is preferred.
