This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and spearhead the global Medical Affairs strategy in alignment with clinical development plans and commercial goals.
• Act as a pivotal medical representative in cross-functional leadership dialogues, encompassing Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial, and Market Access.
• Convert clinical and scientific data into effective medical strategies that enhance product differentiation and demonstrate value.
• Establish and nurture relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and clinical researchers.
• Represent the organization at scientific congresses, advisory boards, and external events.
• Lead and facilitate the strategy and execution of advisory boards.
• Provide strategic guidance on HEOR, including real-world evidence (RWE), outcomes research, and value-based evidence creation.
• Develop and manage the global strategy for corporate sponsorships, grants, and charitable contributions in line with medical and scientific priorities.
• Guide the team in identifying and fostering relationships with key patient organizations.
• Deliver scientific insights for the formulation of economic models, burden-of-disease studies, and comparative effectiveness research.
• Collaborate closely with Clinical Development on trial design, investigator engagement, and data interpretation.
• Work with Commercial and Market Access teams to ensure scientific consistency and adequate support for launch readiness.
• Contribute to regulatory strategy and interactions as required.
• Take on a leadership role in preparing for the initial product launch, including the development of the scientific platform and field medical readiness.
• Ensure the generation and dissemination of data that supports the product's value proposition.
• MD or DO is required (board certification is preferred).
• Cardiovascular experience is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sector, including substantial Medical Affairs leadership experience.
• Proven experience in HEOR / RWE strategy and execution.
• Experience in supporting late-stage development and/or product launches.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong external presence with experience in engaging KOLs and representing the company at scientific forums.
