Senior Director – M&A Strategy, Corporate Development

📋 Description

• Drive the assessment of strategic opportunities involving build, buy, and partnership decisions.

• Oversee the external market and ecosystem trends.

• Generate insights that guide company strategy and investment focus.

• Monitor the quickly changing AI landscape and collaborate with external partners.

• Work closely with leadership across various departments.

• Perform regular evaluations of the market landscape, adjacent ecosystems, and competitive dynamics.

• Identify, assess, and prioritize potential acquisition, investment, and partnership opportunities.

• Assist in strategic diligence and the development of business cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience in corporate development, strategy, investment banking, venture capital, business development, or a related field.

• In-depth understanding of M&A, strategic partnerships, and market analysis within a technology or software context.

• Proven ability to evaluate strategic trade-offs and provide clear recommendations in uncertain situations.

• Strong intellectual curiosity regarding AI, emerging technologies, and the larger software ecosystem.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, capable of influencing senior stakeholders.

• Established relationship-building skills with founders, investors, bankers, and industry operators.

• Experience in producing executive-ready materials, market analyses, and strategic frameworks.

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
