This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the KIPP Network’s 2030 Plan, ensuring alignment between long-term commitments and immediate execution while creating processes to reflect and update the long-term strategy, guaranteeing that 2030 priorities are incorporated into annual plans.
• Take ownership of and enhance the annual planning process, ensuring that there is alignment between long-term strategy, team annual priorities and initiatives, and resource allocation decisions.
• Develop clear planning guidelines, timelines, and decision points for teams.
• Prepare comprehensive materials and decision-making protocols to establish annual organizational priorities and resource allocation decisions.
• Lead the annual planning project team to ensure coherent and aligned processes, including finance, talent, One KIPP Delivery, and other KF team members.
• Act as the primary coordinator for planning leads across various functions, ensuring shared standards, consistency, and cross-functional alignment.
• Facilitate structured planning forums to identify interdependencies, resolve conflicts, and drive enterprise-level decisions.
• Manage the Foundation’s approach to organizational OKRs and KPIs, including definitions, standards, and annual refresh cycles.
• Oversee the collection and synthesis of enterprise performance data, ensuring clarity and comparability across teams.
• Track quarterly progress against organizational goals and highlight trends for senior leadership.
• Design and conduct quarterly stepbacks that allow leaders to evaluate progress, adjust priorities, and respond to emerging situations.
• 7+ years of professional experience, with at least 3+ years in strategy, planning, operations, or related roles, ideally within complex, mission-driven organizations.
• Proven experience managing organization-wide planning processes and coordinating with multiple functional leaders.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, combined with the ability to design and implement disciplined operating rhythms.
• Outstanding facilitation, synthesis, and written communication abilities.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence others without direct authority.
