Senior Director, Global Head of Solution Development – AI Platforms

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) for the SEA platform.

• Lead hands-on design and code reviews across microservices, APIs, and AI-integrated application layers.

• Spearhead the architecture of cloud-native applications on Azure.

• Design and supervise the engineering of LLM-powered applications.

• Establish robust MLOps practices.

• Implement responsible AI engineering guidelines.

• Define and manage the application development standards throughout the engineering organization.

• Build, lead, and expand a world-class engineering team spread across various regions.

• Outline the multi-year engineering roadmap for SEA and Digital Workplace platforms.

• Act as the primary technical representative in discussions with executives and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• 12–18+ years of progressive experience in software engineering and platform development.

• 5+ years of experience leading global engineering teams.

• Hands-on background in software development.

• Extensive knowledge in cloud-native application development on Microsoft Azure.

• Practical experience in engineering AI/ML systems.

• Expert-level proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO).

• Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices.

• Proven success in delivering complex enterprise SaaS or platform products at a global scale.

• Experience in enterprise IT environments with security, compliance, and governance requirements.
