Senior Director, Forming & Shoring Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Provide strategic guidance and leadership to engineering teams at multiple levels, including Directors, Managers, Engineers, and Designers.

• Establish and implement a long-term engineering strategy that aligns with business growth, innovation, and operational objectives.

• Promote standardization, process enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives across engineering operations.

• Manage engineering resource planning, workforce strategies, and capacity management effectively.

• Lead the development and execution of advanced engineering tools, digital solutions, and automation processes.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product Management, and Quality to support projects and address complex challenges.

• Supervise specialized engineering services, ensuring adherence to codes, standards, and customer specifications.

• Develop and oversee budgets, forecasts, and leadership team growth; represent the engineering division at the executive level.

⛳️ Requirements

• A BS/BA degree in a relevant field is typically required.

• Generally, a minimum of 9 years of experience in a related area, including several years in a management or supervisory role.

• Proven experience in leading large, multi-regional engineering organizations.

• In-depth knowledge of forming and shoring systems and structural applications.

• Demonstrated experience in driving digital transformation and process standardization.

• Strong history of aligning engineering strategies with business goals.

• A Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in engineering design tools, such as AutoCAD and Revit.
