Senior Director, Data and Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and take ownership of the long-term strategy for data architecture and tooling across ingestion, warehouse, transformation, BI, and governance layers to ensure both scalability and reliability.

• Establish and uphold standard KPI definitions and governance processes to maintain consistency, auditability, and enterprise-wide trust in reporting.

• Design and implement a repeatable framework for data integration that accelerates the onboarding of new acquisitions and enhances speed-to-insight across the platform.

• Manage external data engineering partners, technology vendors, platform expenditure, and SLAs to guarantee performance and cost efficiency.

• Act as the primary data partner to executive leadership, translating operational and financial needs into technical decisions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in data, analytics, or leadership within data platforms.

• Proven track record in designing and scaling modern cloud data architectures (e.g., Snowflake or similar technologies).

• Strong knowledge of dimensional modeling, semantic layers, and reporting infrastructure.

• Experience with multi-tenant, heterogeneous data environments.

• Preferred experience in private equity-backed, multi-entity, or high-growth settings.

• Demonstrated experience in leading analytics engineering or business intelligence teams.

• Strong commercial insight with fluency in financial and operational metrics.

• Experience managing external vendors and overseeing technology budgets.
