This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Develop, manage, and enhance data relationships that support Experian's Financial Services and Data (FSD) business objectives.
• Navigate the evolving financial data ecosystem to identify key players, their strengths, and capabilities.
• Oversee vendor relationships while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Optimize spending to achieve the highest return on investment (ROI) from data.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including data management, data governance, product management, sales, finance, procurement, and legal.
• Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Enterprise Data Strategy.
• Manage and enhance existing data partner relationships to boost ROI and minimize costs.
• Assess potential new financial data partnerships to enrich Experian's data offerings.
• Supervise the testing, licensing, and integration of new data assets into Experian's systems.
• Establish and maintain relationships with a variety of data providers, including aggregators, Direct to Consumer companies, niche providers, and public data sources.
• Negotiate and execute data licensing agreements and vendor contracts.
• Manage vendor compliance, contract renewals, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with legal and privacy teams to ensure data partnerships meet relevant regulations and Experian standards.
• Monitor data usage to maintain privacy standards and mitigate associated risks.
• Implement cost management initiatives to optimize ROI on data expenditures.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (advanced degree is preferred).
• Over 10 years of experience in data acquisition, partnerships, or a similar role within the financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of consumer and financial data, including data assets and technology providers.
• Proven experience in negotiating complex agreements and managing vendor relationships.
• Fluent in the data landscape and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in influencing stakeholders effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Preference for candidates residing near one of our office locations in New York, NY, Costa Mesa, CA, or Schaumburg, IL.
