Senior Director, CIO & AI Leader Group – Cybersecurity & Emerging Technologies, Enterprise Risk

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive research and produce actionable insights regarding emerging technologies.

• Offer CIOs and AI Leaders best practices for protecting their organizations.

• Evaluate the effects of emerging technologies on cybersecurity strategies.

• Write research notes, market guides, and strategic frameworks.

• Present high-impact presentations and engage in client interactions.

• Collaborate with senior technology executives and vendors.

• Provide personalized advisory support to Gartner clients.

• Participate in innovation discussions and assist in the workflow of the Insights community.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated understanding of the impact of emerging technologies on cybersecurity.

• Proven track record as a CIO, CISO, or direct advisor to CIOs/AI Leaders within a large enterprise or technology-centric organization.

• Extensive expertise in cybersecurity, encompassing technical architecture, threat intelligence, risk management, and governance frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).

• Strong organizational capabilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with analytical and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Specialized knowledge in cybersecurity technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is preferred.
