This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Develop creative, thought-provoking, and highly impactful “must-have insights” content.
• Generate new insights and concepts through thought leadership, offering engaging and actionable strategies that enhance the client's ability to respond to their needs.
• Conduct thorough analysis to uncover the underlying causes of a client’s challenges or overall requirements, reframing perspectives to propel strategy forward.
• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insights positions among a team of analysts.
• Present challenging, independent insights to Gartner leaders that can influence the direction of a research agenda.
• Research, analyze, and forecast market trends and shifts to deliver actionable insights to clients and vendors.
• Offer clients and prospects actionable recommendations aligned with their specific content area through virtual or face-to-face engagements.
• Create and present high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings, both on and off stage.
• Support BTI and Sales: Serve as the voice of the market to assist Insights teams in content creation and to foster engagement with clients in pursuit of their essential business objectives.
• Ensure high-quality and timely peer reviews of content.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert to advocate Gartner insights, methodology, and strategy.
• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with peers in the Insights community.
• Identify enhancements to research processes or develop new procedures to enable the team and BTI to deliver exceptional service.
• Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering their development.
• Focus on client-centric initiatives, proactively helping clients engage regularly with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant industry or field experience.
• Knowledge and expertise in the following areas: Exposure Management, Vulnerability Management, Offensive Security – including (but not limited to) Penetration Testing, Breach Attack Simulation, Adversarial Exposure Validation, Red Team/Purple Team.
• Demonstrate executive presence, establishing immediate credibility with executives and other stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.
• Exhibit excellence in research and writing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical abilities, and presentation skills; capable of engaging clients and responding effectively to inquiries.
• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis; able to apply patterns and frameworks while articulating and justifying conclusions to client challenges.
• Strong communication skills, able to convey complex concepts clearly and simply.
• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale engagements.
• Strong business and financial understanding.
• Deep knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area and the interactions within that market.
• Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support others in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agile and skilled at navigating highly matrixed settings.
• Capable of effectively representing Gartner's research methodology and strategies at all levels.
