• Develop innovative, insightful, and essential content that provokes thought and drives engagement.
• Generate new insights and ideas through leadership in thought, providing compelling and actionable strategies that meet client needs and enable swift action.
• Conduct comprehensive analyses to uncover the root causes of client challenges or requirements, reframing perspectives to advance strategic initiatives.
• Exhibit thought leadership by establishing Insight positions among a team of analysts.
• Deliver original, independent insights to Gartner leaders that can transform the direction of research agendas.
• Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and shifts to furnish clients and vendors with actionable insights.
• Offer clients and prospects actionable guidance tailored to their specific content area, through virtual or in-person interactions.
• Create and present high-value presentation materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, professional associations, and client briefings.
• Support sales efforts by acting as the market voice, assisting Insights teams in content creation and enhancing client engagement to advance their critical business priorities.
• Ensure high quality and timely peer reviews of content.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert to advocate Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Engage actively in innovation, ideation, and research discussions, collaborating effectively with peers in the Insights community.
• Identify opportunities for research process enhancement or develop new methodologies that improve team efficiency and service delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to foster their development.
• Maintain a client-centric approach while encouraging clients to engage frequently with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of experience in Cyber GRC, Information Security, or Enterprise Risk Management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• Possess extensive knowledge of the Cyber GRC tools market.
• Understand the elements of a Cyber GRC solution, including the strengths and weaknesses of key vendors.
• Have substantial experience with one or more Cyber GRC platforms such as ServiceNow, Centraleyes, CyberSaint, EGERIE, LogicGate, or Vanta.
• Experience in developing and implementing an organization’s Cyber GRC strategy in alignment with business goals and risk appetite.
• Strong organizational abilities; capable of working under tight deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
• Exhibit excellence in research and writing skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with analytical and presentation abilities; capable of engaging clients and responding effectively to inquiries.
• Proficient in data analysis and synthesis; able to apply patterns and frameworks while forming and defending conclusions to address client challenges.
• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale events.
• Comprehensive understanding of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area, including market interactions.
• Ability to work independently, while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate and support workflows across multicultural global teams.
• Learning agility and adeptness in navigating complex, matrixed environments.
• Ability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all levels.
