• Generate fresh insights and concepts through thought leadership, offering compelling and actionable strategies that enhance the client's ability to respond to their needs.
• Conduct thorough analyses to uncover the underlying causes of a client’s challenges or overall requirements, reframing perspectives to advance strategic initiatives.
• Exhibit thought leadership in establishing Insights roles within a team of analysts.
• Deliver independent and stimulating insights to Gartner leaders that can shape the direction of research agendas.
• Investigate, analyze, and forecast market trends and transitions, providing clients and vendors with practical insights.
• Offer actionable recommendations to clients and prospects in alignment with their specific content areas through virtual or in-person engagements.
• Develop and present high-value materials for Gartner events, industry conferences, and client briefings, both on-stage and off-stage.
• Assist BTI and Sales by serving as the market voice to aid Insights teams in content creation and foster client engagement to address their crucial business priorities.
• Deliver high-quality and timely peer reviews of content.
• Establish credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner's insights, methodologies, and strategies.
• Actively engage in innovation, ideation, and research discussions while collaborating effectively with peers in the Insights community.
• Identify enhancements to research processes or create new methodologies that enable the team and BTI to provide exceptional service delivery.
• Mentor and coach junior team members for their professional development.
• Maintain a client-centric approach, actively encouraging clients to engage frequently with Gartner insights and interactions.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; a graduate degree is preferred.
• Over 12 years of relevant experience in the field or industry.
• Expertise in AI economics, including defining and demonstrating AI value, including ROI, at the enterprise level.
• Proficient in managing and forecasting AI costs, including investment justification and financial governance.
• Knowledge of AI-driven workforce economics and organizational redesign.
• Expertise in strategic cost management strategies and techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate the business value of technology, including the application of business metrics.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines while producing high-quality deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and presentation capabilities; able to engage clients and respond effectively to inquiries.
• Proficient in analyzing and synthesizing data; capable of applying patterns and frameworks while drawing and defending conclusions to address client challenges.
• Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex concepts in a clear and simple manner.
• Subject matter expertise; comfortable presenting at both large and small-scale speaking events.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• In-depth knowledge of the global and competitive landscape within the subject area, as well as the interrelations within that market.
• Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams and support the workflow of others in a multicultural global environment.
• Learning agile and adept at navigating complex, matrixed environments.
• Ability to effectively represent Gartner's research methodologies and strategies at all levels.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable).
