This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• ARMRA is in search of a Senior Director of AI Infrastructure to lead the development and expansion of the foundational AI infrastructure throughout the organization.
• As ARMRA's primary AI authority, you will be solely responsible for establishing technical standards, governance, and the scalable architecture that integrates all of ARMRA's business systems into a cohesive intelligent automation framework.
• This position is crucial, highly visible, and spans the entire company.
• You will take over the existing foundation and assume full responsibility for it—driving enhancements, addressing deficiencies, implementing new functionalities, and scaling the infrastructure as the business grows.
• You will create and continuously refine a standardized, resilient, and high-performing AI playbook that supports every aspect of the business equally, from Retail and Operations to Marketing, Finance, and Customer Experience.
• You recognize that effective AI architecture focuses on system integration, governance enforcement, and ensuring that intelligent automation is dependable across all areas of the business.
• 8–12+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, solutions architecture, or a principal/lead technical position, with direct involvement in constructing and scaling enterprise-level integration systems in CPG, consumer brands, or omnichannel retail settings. Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for the Senior Director level.
• Strong practical experience with AWS (required). Proven track record in architecting and managing cloud-native environments for production API services, not merely development or testing workloads.
• Extensive knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks, middleware design, and data pipeline architecture. You have linked complex real-world business systems across various departments, rather than just creating demos.
• Direct experience in deploying and managing LLM-driven systems in production (including API integrations, prompt management, and agentic workflows). Your focus is on ensuring these systems operate reliably at scale rather than model training.
• Experience in establishing and maintaining business intelligence infrastructure: data warehousing, unified reporting, and analytics across departments.
• Strong understanding of data governance, privacy compliance (CCPA, GDPR), and security best practices for managing customer PII across integrated systems.
• Outstanding capability to lead intricate technical initiatives that impact multiple departments, necessitating alignment from various executive stakeholders.
• Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical execution. You can effectively facilitate discussions between a VP and a developer to ensure mutual understanding.
• Excellent documentation practices. If you create it, you document it. If you modify it, you update the documentation.
• Prepared to work independently in a dynamic, remote environment where priorities can change rapidly, and you are expected to take initiative without waiting for approval.
• Preference for executing and delivering over planning and presenting. We need someone who can drive projects into production rather than just create compelling presentations about potential initiatives.
• ARMRA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 am - 6 pm EST
