AI Engineer – LLM Products

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop new features for AI-powered products, taking them from concept to production.

• Enhance current AI workflows to ensure quality, reliability, speed, and user satisfaction.

• Design and execute workflows based on LLM, including structured outputs, validation logic, and fallback mechanisms.

• Create evaluation loops, tests, and quality assurance measures for outputs generated by AI.

• Integrate AI functionalities into existing product and backend infrastructures.

• Collaborate with both commercial and open-source LLMs without being restricted to a single provider.

• Assist in self-hosted model workflows when it is beneficial for quality, speed, cost, or control.

• Troubleshoot failures in AI features across inputs, outputs, data, backend logic, and user interactions.

• Utilize AI development tools as a fundamental component of your daily responsibilities.

• Deliver results swiftly while maintaining high production standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient software engineering skills, particularly in Python or a similar backend language.

• Experience in developing AI-powered product features or workflows based on LLMs.

• Capability to swiftly transform vague product concepts into functional software.

• Strong knowledge of designing, testing, validating, and enhancing AI outputs.

• Proven experience in integrating AI workflows into live production systems.

• Strong debugging skills across application logic, data inputs, model outputs, and user interactions.

• Background in evaluation, testing, validation, or quality assurance for AI-generated outputs.

• Significant experience with AI development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Copilot, or comparable tools as part of your daily routine.

• High intelligence, quick learning capability, proactive attitude, and ownership mindset.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, making rapid decisions, and thriving in a high-trust startup environment.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
