
Senior Director, AI, Architecture – Insurance Industry Experience Required

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the strategic vision, design, and implementation of enterprise technology architecture along with artificial intelligence capabilities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and leaders of business units.
• Enhance the firm’s digital and AI maturity by aligning architectural strategies with business objectives.
• Design, implement, and manage an enterprise Agentic AI framework.
• Lead the assessment and selection process for LLM platforms.
• Establish and regulate enterprise architecture standards across applications, data, integrations, infrastructure, and security.
• Ensure that architectural decisions effectively balance innovation, risk management, cost efficiency, and long-term sustainability.
• Define and spearhead the enterprise AI strategy, creating a clear vision for AI transformation.
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 12 years of progressive leadership experience in technology, showcasing success in enterprise architecture, AI strategy, and digital transformation, including hands-on experience in designing or deploying production AI/ML and LLM-based solutions.
• A proven history of managing complex, multi-platform environments and modernizing technology ecosystems at scale.
• Experience in implementing AI, automation, and advanced data solutions in regulated or service-oriented industries is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and deploying Agentic AI systems that are capable of autonomous decision-making, multi-step task execution, and adaptive learning in enterprise contexts.
• Proficient hands-on experience with leading LLM platforms—Anthropic Claude (Sonnet, Opus), OpenAI GPT-4o, Google Gemini, and Meta LLaMA—along with the ability to evaluate model fit, manage prompt engineering standards, and oversee multi-model deployments.
