This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in maintaining chain-of-custody procedures by monitoring file movement between vendors and storage solutions.
• Recognize and escalate any discrepancies in inventory and transfers for prompt resolution.
• Conduct quality assurance assessments (both automated and manual) to confirm completeness, legibility, and accuracy.
• Perform sample-based quality control reviews and document any exceptions for escalation and corrective action.
• Implement and verify metadata tagging in line with established schemas and standards.
• Examine extracted data fields and highlight any inconsistencies or missing values for correction.
• Support OCR/ICR processing and verify outputs for accuracy and usability.
• Aid in testing the performance of multilingual processing and document extraction.
• Collaborate with technical teams to facilitate the ingestion of digitized files and metadata into client systems (e.g., Palantir Foundry, Databricks).
• Execute validation checks to ensure data integrity, formatting, and adherence to security protocols.
• Assist in testing and validating search functionalities (keyword, semantic, or image-based).
• Provide insights on search relevance, usability of metadata, and accessibility of data.
• Support documentation of requirements, status updates, and preparation of metrics (e.g., throughput, backlog, QC results).
• Work alongside internal teams and stakeholders to monitor progress and address operational challenges.
• Identify potential enhancements in digitization workflows, metadata quality, and quality control procedures.
• Document lessons learned and assist in revising standard operating procedures.
• Bachelor's degree. An additional four years of experience will be required in place of a degree.
• At least four (4) years of experience in technology consulting, data management, digitization, or a related field.
• Knowledge of high-volume scanning, OCR/ICR processes, and quality control methodologies.
• Experience in applying metadata schemas, validating extracted data, and executing quality checks.
• Capacity to support multi-step workflows, coordinate activities across teams, and monitor deliverables.
• Ability to identify data inconsistencies, troubleshoot problems, and assist in resolution efforts.
• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must secure approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to joining Guidehouse.
• Preference will be given to candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY.
