This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the formulation and implementation of ChildFund Rugby’s global communications strategy aimed at achieving impactful results.
• Enhance visibility and brand strength while consistently and ethically embodying strong international development principles, facilitating revenue generation.
• Connect with diverse audiences within the realms of sports, government, and international development.
• Assist in priority revenue-generation pathways, establishing clear and measurable connections from awareness to audience engagement.
• Position impact communications as a vital resource for securing funding, partnerships, and operational legitimacy.
• Ensure a cohesive narrative across all channels, ranging from storytelling to media, digital platforms, and donor engagement initiatives.
• Facilitate social impact partnerships with international sports federations through major event activations and continuous engagement platforms.
• Aid in fulfilling sponsorship and partnership commitments through creative storytelling, campaign materials, visibility reports, and data-driven impact communications.
• Expand on ChildFund Rugby’s global narrative by crafting clear messaging and ethical, evidence-based stories.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in senior digital communications, digital campaigning, digital fundraising, performance marketing, or related fields, including the use of CRM, email marketing, analytics, paid media, and website performance metrics to guide campaign strategies.
• Experience in sports, major events, commercial partnerships, or related sectors is advantageous.
• Proven track record in designing digital supporter journeys, lead generation funnels, or fundraising campaigns.
• Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders, agencies, creative vendors, and partner organizations.
• Background in international development or social impact is preferable - a solid understanding of ethical storytelling and social change is crucial.
• Strong, authentic, and creative storytelling abilities.
• Strategic mindset, proactive planning, and robust analytical skills.
• Capacity to navigate across commercial, sports, and international development sectors.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills across various cultures and sectors.
• High levels of resilience, adaptability, and the capability to manage competing timelines.
• Proficiency in English, with knowledge of French being a plus.
• This role is a fixed-term, output-based consultancy and does not represent a staff or employment position.
