Senior DevSecOps Engineer, CI-CD Pipelines

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Migrate containerized applications from Docker Compose to Kubernetes (k3s).

• Design, build, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines utilizing Azure DevOps, GitLab CI/CD, or Jenkins.

• Integrate security measures into the delivery process, which includes static code analysis, dependency scanning, container image scanning, secrets detection, image signing, vulnerability management, and release gates.

• Support automation for deployment, environment promotion, rollback, traceability, and ensuring release reliability.

• Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to enhance automation, resilience, and secure delivery practices.

• Troubleshoot and resolve build, deployment, and runtime challenges across CI/CD and Kubernetes environments.

• Document solutions implemented and contribute to fostering good DevSecOps practices within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience in DevSecOps, Platform Engineering, or similar roles, with a primary focus on DevSecOps.

• Strong hands-on expertise with Docker and Kubernetes; experience with k3s is highly preferred.

• Demonstrated experience in migrating workloads from Docker Compose to Kubernetes.

• Extensive practical experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, as well as GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins.

• Significant hands-on experience with DevSecOps principles and software supply chain security practices, including SAST, dependency scanning, container/image scanning, secrets management, and image signing.

• Solid understanding of cloud or hybrid infrastructure, Linux environments, and automation/scripting.

• Familiarity with Git-based workflows, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and collaboration tools such as Azure DevOps, GitLab, and Jira.

• Strong troubleshooting abilities, as well as effective communication and documentation skills.

• Proficient spoken and written English.
