Senior DevOps, Security Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and oversee secure CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes.

• Automate the deployment and configuration management of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Apply cloud security best practices, governance, and compliance standards.

• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure secure application delivery.

• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk mitigation activities.

• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments for performance and security threats.

• Manage containerization and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Support incident response, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity planning.

• Develop and maintain DevSecOps frameworks and automation workflows.

• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and documentation for operational processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Cybersecurity.

• Strong hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with cloud platforms including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google GCP.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and container security.

• Familiarity with security tools including SIEM, vulnerability management, IAM, and endpoint protection solutions.

• Understanding of networking, firewalls, encryption, IAM, Zero Trust, and compliance frameworks.

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.

• Scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

• Exceptional analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Preferred: Certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), CISSP, CEH, or Azure Security Engineer.

• Experience with DevSecOps and automated security testing tools.

• Exposure to SOC operations and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR.

• Experience working with global remote teams and enterprise environments.
