Senior DevOps Engineer – SRE

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborating with software teams and managing the build scripts

• Enhancing site reliability

• Promoting sound software development practices through the use of infrastructure as code (IAC) methodology

• Managing site reliability and uptime

• Overseeing CI/CD maintenance and automating CI/CD processes

• Conducting security monitoring and applying patches

• Communicating about downtime and patching with internal and external stakeholders

• Executing system upgrades

• Implementing and onboarding new tools

• Addressing other DevOps-related issues, including but not limited to those mentioned above

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience working in an Agile environment to deploy features, fixes, and updates within a sprint cycle

• Ability to collaborate with an international team to implement new tools and provide support for existing ones

• Strong communication skills with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and schedule fixes or downtime

• Proficiency in managing CI/CD pipelines and assisting stakeholders with errors encountered in these pipelines

• A proactive approach to identifying irregularities, conducting investigations, and reporting findings

• Familiarity with AKS, Azure DevOps Pipeline, and VM management in Azure

• Build engineering experience with Atlassian Bamboo or any contemporary CI/CD toolchain

• Knowledge of helm charts

• Proficient in Python, PowerShell, Go, and Bash

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and automation

• Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) experience, including version upgrades, certificate upgrades, and mitigating security issues in a cloud environment

• Experience working within Agile scrum or kanban development models

• Familiarity with deployment and utilization of tools such as Artifactory, SonarQube, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, and Confluence

• Professional-level verbal and written communication skills in English
