Senior DevOps Engineer – Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Button’s platform to guarantee scalability, stability, and operability.

• Collaborate with engineers from the Core and Infrastructure teams to achieve seamless design.

• Deliver and uphold a self-service platform for Product Engineering.

• Enhance system instrumentation and tools with monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing capabilities.

• Construct, refine, maintain, and support critical business systems.

• Oversee and monitor the production serving environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in supporting and building infrastructure.

• Direct hands-on experience with tools and frameworks such as EC2, RDS, Aurora, ECS, and Terraform.

• Knowledge of event-driven and queue-driven architecture.

• Experience with serverless technologies, DynamoDB, and step functions.

• Proficient in using Docker.

• Familiarity with build technologies like Make, Pantsbuild, Bazel, or Buck2.

• Experience in administering and scaling monitoring and observability solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, New Relic).

• Proficiency with CI/CD solutions.

• Strong knowledge of AWS.

• Familiarity with Python, Go, or Node.js is advantageous.

• Understanding of GCP and AWS CDK is a plus.
