Senior DevOps Engineer – Industrial AI Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain ICT components and applications to ensure a high-quality standard product portfolio on the AI Factory Cloud platform.

• Create concepts, processes, and methodologies for automation, optimization, and standardization to meet efficiency and automation demands.

• Provide consultations and share insights or information, either upon request or proactively, with all relevant employees or clients regarding the technical aspects of products.

• Deliver project outputs to meet the defined project scope.

• Consult on and implement new innovative technologies to align with the innovation strategy.

• Take ownership of the maintenance and enhancement of product pipelines, connecting them to various platforms and infrastructures, integrating these systems into the pipeline, and conducting root-cause analysis of runtime errors.

• Offer comprehensive solutions and guidelines in planning, developing, and implementing new products to address business needs.

• Design and implement service architectures based on the requirements of the AI Factory Cloud platform.

• Mentor and train colleagues to enhance their knowledge and skills.

• Develop concepts for further automation of services, processes, and/or operational models.

• Serve as the key technical lead, coordinating activities and solving challenges across related technologies and teams.

• Provide consulting services to project teams in areas of expertise.

• Set up and manage integrations with partner applications.

• Conduct research and development in assigned technologies, determine business needs, propose modifications, and create implementation plans.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Master's degree in Information Technology.

• Over 4 years of experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

• More than 2 years of experience in creating CI/CD pipelines and serverless architectures.

• Knowledge of the AI Factory Cloud platform software stack, including its dependencies across different layers.

• Familiarity with NVIDIA GPU-Accelerated server platforms.

• Understanding of Data Engineering, Data Transformation, and Data Migration tools.

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or similar container-based technologies.

• Experience with VMware environments, specifically VMware Tanzu Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Go, Python, or Bash.

• Experience with automation tools and deployment processes (Ansible, Salt-stack, Terraform, Helm).

• Background in CI/CD within a Kubernetes environment and repository management.

• Proficient in automation using Git (GitHub, GitLab) and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI/CD.

• Experience with Linux operating systems.

• Familiarity with Software Defined Networking (SDN).

• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.

• Strong communication, analytical thinking, teamwork, presentation, and negotiation skills; proficiency in English (Advanced C1), with knowledge of German being an advantage.
