Senior DevOps Engineer – Cybersecurity Platform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Design, scale, and maintain self-managed clusters for Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, and MongoDB.

• Work in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams to create resilient architectures for high-scale, real-time cloud operations.

• Proactively detect bottlenecks and security vulnerabilities, implementing effective solutions with minimal oversight.

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery for distributed systems by utilizing Infrastructure-as-Code and adhering to CI/CD best practices.

• Enhance performance and reliability of cloud-native systems, emphasizing observability and automated recovery mechanisms.

• Provide mentorship to team members and engage in knowledge-sharing within the DevOps community across the organization.

• Participate in on-call rotations to maintain high availability and facilitate swift resolution of production issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a DevOps Engineer in high-traffic, real-time settings.

• Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform.

• Expertise in Elasticsearch/OpenSearch at a production level.

• Skilled in managing self-hosted deployments of Kafka, Redis, or MongoDB.

• Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and contemporary CI/CD pipelines.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes.

• Proficient in scripting languages.

• At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency.

• PREFERRED: Experience with PostgreSQL or Pulumi.

• Knowledge of additional security compliance frameworks relevant to finance, healthcare, or government sectors.

• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Datadog, and Loki.

• Contributions to open-source DevOps or security tools.
