Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Ensure systems are highly available, resilient, and maintainable to support our business growth strategy, emphasizing Automation, Monitoring, Continuous Integration, and Delivery.

• Design and implement automated provisioning solutions for both applications and infrastructure.

• Provision and manage cloud infrastructures within Azure.

• Offer operational and system expertise to software delivery teams.

• Address issues reported through Service Desk systems.

• Enhance information access, server infrastructure performance, and data integrity.

• Maintain documentation such as server build documents, configuration standards, and infrastructure architecture.

• Create corrective action plans and Root Cause Analysis documents for both internal and client distribution.

• Carry out activities to automate and streamline infrastructure operations and DevOps processes.

• Develop and sustain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations, utilizing the latest technologies including Agentic AI.

• Ensure the technical environment is properly monitored and utilized, with prompt resolution of technical issues.

• Identify system performance challenges and oversee the creation and application of tools to address them.

• Support and maintain customer-facing production environments alongside QA and Development environments.

• Report and manage risks in accordance with ISO 27001 controls.

• Safeguard assets, information security, and control frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a technical/STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering position.

• Familiarity with various DevOps tools for developing and managing digital pipelines.

• Proficient knowledge of the Azure cloud platform, including but not limited to: Azure Kubernetes Services, Log Analytics, Function Apps, Logic Apps, Storage Accounts, Synapse Analytics, Analysis Services, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Databricks.

• Understanding of Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Entra ID and Group Policy Objects (GPOs).

• Familiarity with Terraform and Terragrunt.

• Understanding of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as HTTP and DNS, with knowledge of all layers of a web services technology stack.

• Proficient in English.
