Software Developer – DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Interfaces & Integrations: As a member of our Integration team, you will take charge of not only developing and enhancing our interface architecture but also devising innovative solutions for data interchange.

• You build it, you ship it: From producing clean backend code to offering a deployment-ready service, you will have complete ownership of your features.

• Infrastructure & Cloud: You are adept with the Linux console and play an active role in constructing, maintaining, and automating our CI/CD pipelines as well as our cloud infrastructure (GCP).

• Quality & Code Reviews: Writing clean, well-testable code (Clean Code) comes naturally to you. By routinely engaging in code reviews, you contribute to maintaining our collective quality standards.

• Bug Analysis & Performance: You adopt a solution-oriented approach and independently tackle bottlenecks and challenges throughout the entire stack, from the API to the server infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1–3 years practical experience: Strong professional background in software development with Node.js and contemporary frontend frameworks—supported by a computer science degree, vocational training as an IT specialist, or a similar qualification.

• Interface experience: Hands-on expertise in developing and designing robust (REST) APIs and confident management of relational (e.g., PostgreSQL) or NoSQL databases.

• DevOps mindset: Proficient with the Linux console and practical experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI / GitHub Actions), and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure).

• Ownership mentality: You take initiative rather than waiting; instead of merely reporting issues, you think holistically, prioritize independently, and drive actionable solutions to completion.

• Team spirit & communication: You have a structured approach to work, a strong willingness to learn, and fluent German or proficient English skills for effective collaboration within an agile team.
