Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, construct, and maintain GitHub CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments across diverse environments.

• Manage and support Azure cloud infrastructure, encompassing provisioning, configuration, networking, and continuous system maintenance.

• Create and sustain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions utilizing Terraform to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.

• Develop and uphold PowerShell scripts and platform automation to enhance operational efficiency and ensure deployment consistency.

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to adopt DevOps and DevSecOps best practices, resolve production issues, and enhance platform reliability while maintaining technical documentation and participating in Agile ceremonies.

• Utilize AI-driven development tools to expedite engineering tasks, automate repetitive activities, and optimize development workflows.

• Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support team goals and ensure project success.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 7 years of DevOps engineering experience in enterprise cloud environments.

• Advanced proficiency in designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure and Azure DevOps solutions.

• Strong background in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.

• Experience in Azure system administration, PowerShell scripting, cloud networking, container technologies, and .NET application deployments.

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and strong technical documentation capabilities.

• Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, with experience in Agile software development environments and cross-functional technical teams.

• Experience in implementing DevSecOps practices, security automation, and compliance controls within Azure cloud environments.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).

• Experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DoD), or other federal healthcare modernization initiatives, as well as using AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or ChatGPT.
