Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of and design our comprehensive AWS infrastructure, pinpointing areas for enhancement and executing effective solutions.

• Create and implement scalable infrastructure platforms that facilitate seamless deployments across various teams.

• Lead initiatives related to security infrastructure, including the implementation of SIEM, EDR, automated scanning tools, and backup systems.

• Oversee and optimize infrastructure costs while ensuring maximum availability and performance.

• Develop and sustain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible, with the chance to refine existing implementations.

• Design and enhance autoscaling solutions for diverse workloads, including webinar demands and ML/data processing pipelines.

• Establish network architecture and security measures, including firewall configurations and routing protocols.

• Construct and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various application teams.

• Collaborate with the AI team to design and implement infrastructure for data processing and ML pipelines.

• Proactively identify infrastructure improvements and implement effective solutions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of DevOps experience, ideally within scaling B2B SaaS companies.

• Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining infrastructure platforms that support multiple development teams.

• Strong expertise in AWS services and infrastructure management.

• Advanced knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with Ansible is advantageous.

• Proficiency in network management, including firewalls, routing, and security protocols.

• Strong coding skills in Python and Shell/Bash scripting, with additional coding experience in Go, PHP, or Ruby being a plus.

• Experience with enterprise security processes and procurement, ideally managing elements or the entirety of the infosec function for Fortune 500 enterprises.

• Background in implementing and managing security infrastructure (SIEM, EDR, XDR).

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive ownership approach.

• Capability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams and address diverse infrastructure needs.
