This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, implement, and manage scalable Cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform and Kubernetes.
• Promote GitOps methodologies by employing Flux for automated deployment.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to enhance developer experience and minimize operational overhead.
• Oversee incident response, conduct post-mortems, and drive improvements in system reliability.
• Assess and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance platform performance.
• Collaborate closely with other senior engineers and provide mentorship to junior engineers on DevOps best practices.
• Our technology stack includes GCP, Kubernetes, Terraform, Flux, ELK, Python (Django), Postgres, Redis, React.js (NextJS), GraphQL, and Apollo.
• Strong technical expertise and a solid understanding of systems and infrastructure.
• Experience in managing the complete application release cycle (CI/CD and GitOps, with a preference for Flux).
• High proficiency in Terraform, Kubernetes, and Linux Shell.
• Programming experience, preferably in Python or Go.
• In-depth knowledge of a public cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP), with GCP being a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in DevOps and Infrastructure.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
• Capability to view the overall vision and execute system architecture planning.
• Degree in Computer Science is desirable but not essential; we value extraordinary talent.
